Saturday, August 18th, 6pm-11pm; Canon's Marsh Amphitheatre, Bristol.
The British Universities Snowsports Council (BUSC) Present the Fistful of Dollar$ Urban Railjam. 20 of the UK's best pro and upcoming skiers and snowboarders competing in Bristol city in the middle of summer on real snow (provided by SNO!Zone).
The Canon's Marsh Amphitheatre in Bristol's harbourside area will host a rail setup on which riders will attempt to impress the judges with the most outstanding tricks winning spot prizes of cash and equipment. In the final session the bar will be raised higher as competitors battle it out to win a final cash prize and, more importantly, the title of Rider of the Night; among other awards.
Spectators will be kept refreshed by an outdoor bar, and entertained by the Urban Knights' Benny Kane on the decks and MCs energising both the riders and the crowds.
Photographers and video crews will be in attendance to capture all the action of what promises to be an excellent night. Those who still have the energy are welcome at the BUSC afterparty at the Scream White Hart on Queen’s Rd.
